I wasn't in Mr Yu's class for a very long time, in fact when I first started chemistry lessons with him was in RMSS before he opened TSA. We used to go to his house for lessons because he opened the place in Toa payoh. Those were the days that although it was hot, stuffy and squeezy in his house, he never stopped caring for us and make sure we are all comfortable. Scared by his fierce aura, I often didn't dare to ask or talk in class. however, Mr Yu is always try his best to get responds from us to make the class more lively and engaging. slowly I adapted to the environment and could express my thoughts freely. Mr Yu is always so encouraging and does a lot to help to improve our grades. my grades were quite bad but despite that he still continued to guide me slowly and provide many shortcuts for us to remember things easier. Furthermore, in classes, he always emphasises on questions which are common and even though he has been teaching the same thing 4 times in the week, he is still passionate and patient. One point about Mr Yu which moves me is that he will label questions which are common, questions which are tricky. To do this, you need to have to analyse every TYS paper and this is really difficult.
